(Babel) Hellyana was again questioned by Bareskrim Polri regarding the alleged case
fake diploma
, on Thursday (13/11) yesterday.
Hellyana’s attorney, Zainul Arifin, said that his client was again questioned as a witness after investigators from the Directorate of General Crimes upgraded the status of the case to the investigation stage.
“He has been questioned twice, the first time for clarification as a witness at the investigation stage and once questioned as a witness yesterday at the investigation stage,” he told reporters, Friday (14/11).

In this case, Zainul said that investigators had also confiscated a number of pieces of evidence, in the form of diplomas from the university and documents showing the chancellor’s signature.
“Investigators have confiscated 15 original diplomas from the campus, and 40 pages of the chancellor’s signature, and one original diploma from the Deputy Governor’s mother,” he said.
On the other hand, the reporter’s attorney, Herdika Sukma, welcomed the increase in the status of the case to the investigation stage.This means, he said, investigators have discovered the alleged criminal act committed by Hellyana.
He then hopes that the investigation process can be completed quickly so that the facts of the alleged fake diploma are revealed to the public.
“This is a step forward that we really support. Hopefully all the facts can be revealed soon,” said Herdika separately.
Previously, the Deputy Governor of Bangka Belitung, Hellyana, was reported to the Police Criminal Investigation Unit regarding a case of alleged fake diplomas, on Monday (21/7).
The report was submitted by Bangka Belitung University student, Ahmad Sidik accompanied by his attorney Herdika Sukma Negara.The report has been received and registered with number LP/B/339/VII/2025/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI, dated July 21 2025.
“Today we came from Bangka Belitung to report that the Deputy Governor of Bangka Belitung with the initials H is suspected of using a fake diploma,” said Herdika at Bareskrim Polri.
