The police officially determined
Ayu Puspita
as a suspect in the alleged case
fraud
wedding organizer (WO).Apart from Ayu, the police also named four other people as suspects.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto said that currently Ayu and another suspect with the initials D have been detained at the North Jakarta Metro Police.
“It is true that suspects A and D were detained in North Jakarta,” said Budi when confirmed, Tuesday (9/12).

Budi said that the three other suspects are now being handled by Polda Metro Jaya.
“And the other three suspects were held at the Wasidik Polda Metro Jaya for the handling process, because the other three suspects had a crime scene outside North Jakarta,” said Budi.
Previously, the police arrested the owner of the wedding organizer (WO) Ayu Puspita along with four other reported persons for questioning in a suspected fraud case.
“We have received reports from the WO victims. Currently, as of last night, we are examining five people from the WO,” said North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head Commissioner Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar to reporters, Monday (8/12).
Onkoseno said that in total his party received 87 reports from victims.Onkoseno said that his party was still calculating the amount of losses suffered by the victims, but it was estimated that the losses would reach hundreds of millions.
On Sunday (7/12), around 200 fraud victims raided Ayu’s residence in East Jakarta.The situation also heated up.
East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Alfian Nurrizal.
Alfian said that his party immediately went to the location to carry out mediation.After that, the perpetrator was immediately taken to the North Jakarta Metro Police.
“The situation heated up because the crowd demanded accountability from the wedding organizer,” he said.
