Disney plans to re-release the film
Avengers End Game
in theaters on September 25, 2026. This means that the film will be released earlier than Avengers: Doomsday.
Avengers: End Game directors Joe and Anthony Russo aka the Russo Brother announced the news of the rerun in a post on Instagram on Saturday (6/12).

“You will immediately want to turn up your volume,” is the opening sentence in the video uploaded by @therussobrothers.
The video then shows the audience in the cinema watching the scene of Captain America walking towards the camera, so that it seems like he is approaching the audience.
“You remember this feeling,” he wrote.Then lights and other figures appeared.
“We too,” the article continued.
The audience immediately became noisy.The sound of applause and shouting continued.
“We can’t wait to share this again with you on the big screen. Avengers: Endgame returns to cinemas September 25,” wrote the account @therussobrothers in the caption.
Russo’s production company, AGBO Films, captioned their post on the same video: “The ultimate pre-play for Avengers: Doomsday is Endgame.”
Avengers: Doomsday finished filming last September and will be released in cinemas on December 18, 2026.
The film will bring together superheroes from iconic Marvel teams, such as the Thunderbolts* who changed their name to New Avengers, Fantastic 4, X-Men, and the remaining members of the Endgame era Avengers.
Apart from that, Marvel Studios has announced at least 27 names of stars who will appear in Avengers: Doomsday, including Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Tom Hiddleston, Simu Liu, Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Pedro Pascal, and Vanessa Kirby.
Avengers: Doomsday is also being worked on again by Joe and Anthony Russo aka the Russo Brothers, Marvel’s proud director duo who decided to return after Avengers: Endgame (2019).
