filed for divorce from her husband, the former Governor of West Java

The first divorce trial was held in the middle of last week, Wednesday (17/12) at the Bandung City Religious Court (PA), West Java.At the initial trial, neither Ridwan Kamil nor Atalia attended.They were represented by their respective legal representatives.
Meanwhile, Atalia didn’t want to talk much about the divorce lawsuit.

In the midst of her divorce process which attracted public attention, Atalia was present at the inauguration of the inaugural Bandung-Semarang flight route at Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung City.
Journalists who were at the location tried to ask him for information regarding the divorce suit.However, Atalia chose to remain silent.He was reluctant to answer journalists’ questions, walked away and went straight into his private car.

.Ask for prayers, bro,” was a short sentence uttered by Atalia at Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung.
Meanwhile, earlier this weekend, Atalia and RK were said to have agreed to separate.This was announced directly by their two teams of lawyers in Bandung.
It turns out that both of them have undergone mediation and agreed to end their marriage.
“We would like to convey that the mediation of the case registered by Mrs. Atalia has been carried out, and was attended directly by the principals (Atalia and Ridwan Kamil) with a mediator from the Religious Court,” said Ridwan Kamil’s lawyer, Wenda Aluwi.
“As a result, they agreed on several points. And the mediation agenda will then move to trial. Normatively, this divorce will continue to proceed amicably until the court decision is determined,” he added.
Atalia’s lawyer, Debi Agusfriansa, stated that her client and Ridwan Kamil had agreed to divorce.One of the results of mediation is an agreement to care for children together.
“Basically, they agreed to separate on good terms. Second, they will respect each other and will also care for the children together,” he said.
Debi also emphasized the issue of Atalia’s divorce suit.He confirmed that there was no third party as had been rumored in his client’s divorce suit against Ridwan Kamil.
“Because we happen to be the plaintiff, we are the ones who wrote the contents of the lawsuit, we made sure that in the lawsuit there was no such thing as a third party. So this separation is purely due to the wishes of both parties,” he said.
“Ms. Atalia also said that people must respect each other because this is a personal matter. So we hope that in the future we will pray for each other so that this is the best for you and your mother,” she added.
