Based on witness information, at around 09.50 WIB the victim was seen drinking coffee at a shop near the location.The victim was also seen pacing around the railroad crossing.
“Furthermore, the victim was seen sitting on the metal rail barrier. When a train was about to pass, witness 1 and witness 2 and their colleagues tried to shout at the victim not to cross because the train that was going to pass was clearly visible,” said Cisauk Police Chief AKP Dhady Arsya to reporters, Monday (8/12).

However, the victim did not heed the warnings given by residents around the location.The victim actually crossed the crossing and crashed into a passing train.
“The victim did not heed the warning, instead he looked away while smiling, then immediately crossed the tracks and crashed into a train passing from Rangkasbitung to Jakarta Tanah Abang,” said Dhady.
The witness then reported this incident to the officer on duty at Cisauk Station.Officers then checked the location.
“Checked the location and confirmed that it was true that someone had been hit by a train. Then, witness 3 contacted the Cisauk Police,” said Dhady.
Furthermore, Dhady said that from the results of the investigation, it was suspected that the victim was determined to carry out the action because he was experiencing depression.
“The victim allegedly crashed into the train and had injuries to his back as a result of being hit by the train. The victim is thought to be experiencing depression,” he said.
