from the Reds squad who will compete against Inter Milan in the Champions League, Wednesday (10/12) early morning Indonesian time.
Slot and Salah are no longer on their honeymoon.The relationship between the two seemed strained.Salah’s confession after only being a reserve player at Liverpool revealed internal problems in the Premier League champions’ camp.
Salah has not been Liverpool’s main player in three consecutive matches, against West Ham United, Sunderland and Leeds United.The former Fiorentina player only played in the match against Sunderland as a substitute for Cody Gakpo from the start of the second half.

Ahead of the away match against Inter, Salah was not included in Liverpool’s squad.Temperature tensions are increasing.
“We have informed him that he is not coming [to Milan], so that was the only communication from us to him. But of course, before Saturday we both talked a lot. Sometimes longer, sometimes shorter,” said Slot about Salah’s exclusion in the match against Inter Milan.
Before his removal, Salah told the media that it was like he was ‘thrown from a bus’.Slot did not want to comment further on the matter, but the Dutch coach opened his mouth about his alleged heated relationship with the Egyptian star.
“No, I don’t feel that. But he has the right to feel what he feels. I didn’t feel that way until Saturday night, because I think when I don’t play him anymore, usually the players are not happy with the coach,” said Slot referring to his decision not to play Salah when Liverpool visited Leeds United.
“But he is very respectful to my staff, to his teammates, and he trains hard. So it was a surprise for me when I heard him comment after the match,” he said while understanding Salah’s annoyance at not playing.
Even though he considered Salah’s response reasonable, Slot did not deny that the decision to drop the 33-year-old player was one of the ways he and the team reacted.
“I think our reaction to that is also clear and that is that he is not here with us tonight,” said Slot as quoted by Liverpool’s official website.
The former Feyenoord coach made sure he did not completely close the door on Salah and did not want to make a statement about the possibility of one of his players leaving Anfield.
“I really believe that there is always the possibility of a player returning. So I think like that,” said Slot.
