at Jakarta Kota Station, Tuesday (11/11).
The KRL will enter retirement from regular service after nearly two decades serving the residents of Jabodetabek.
This activity was initiated by the Indonesian Railway Preservation Society community.
To honor their contribution, the three KRL series were then designated as cultural heritage.
In Japan, similar celebrations are routinely held as a form of final respect for a series of trains that will stop operating.
