Rika said that the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections had also issued a warrant for an examination and code of ethics trial against Chandra Sudarto.
He said the Code of Ethics hearing would be held on Tuesday (2/12) at the Directorate General of PAS by the Internal Compliance Directorate Team. The Directorate General of PAS, explained Rika, will impose sanctions according to applicable regulations.

This case has attracted the attention of many parties, one of which is the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR).Member of Commission XIII DPR RI Mafirion condemned this inhumane act.
According to him, Chandra Sudarto’s actions were a serious violation of human rights and religious freedom.Mafirion asked the Minister of Immigration and Corrections to remove the Chief of Staff and process it legally.
“The action of the Head of Prisons in forcing Muslim inmates to eat food that is clearly prohibited in Islamic teachings is not only an inappropriate act, but also a violation of law and human rights,” he said in a written statement, Thursday (27/11).
Mafirion explained that a number of legal regulations clearly regulate the prohibition of discriminatory acts and blasphemy of religion, such as the Criminal Code (KUHP) Articles 156, 156a, 335, 351.
He also asked law enforcement officials to act quickly so that this case does not escalate into a larger social issue, considering that acts of religious discrimination are very sensitive and have the potential to trigger horizontal conflict.
Mafirion said that protection of religious freedom must be upheld in all places, including in prisons.
“Our Constitution and laws are clear. No one should be forced to violate their beliefs. The state must be there to protect them,” he said.
