getting closer to the record of scoring 1,000 goals.Responding to this, Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti joked that Ronaldo would have to invite him to a celebration party if the record of 1,000 goals was reached.
Currently, Ronaldo has collected 953 goals throughout his career, including at club and national team level.
With consistent performance that is still shown even though he is no longer young, achieving 1,000 goals does not seem impossible for Ronaldo.

“Ronaldo will score 1,000 goals, I’m sure of that. There’s no doubt he will do it,” Ancelotti told AS, quoted from

“In Italy, people recently asked me about Modric and his performance at the age of 40. I answered that of course he would be successful at Milan. Luka and Cristiano are true professional players who love football and have extraordinary passion for this sport,” Ancelotti added.
Ancelotti said players like Luka Modric or Ronaldo always pursue whatever goals they want.
“They will always achieve whatever they want. Cristiano will definitely reach 1,000 goals. But Cris, if you succeed, don’t forget to invite me to celebrate this extraordinary achievement,” said Ancelotti.
Ronaldo and Ancelotti have had a close relationship since working together at Real Madrid.The duo successfully presented the 2013/2014 Champions League, a season in which Ronaldo scored a record 17 goals in one edition of the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo also recently confirmed his retirement plans, saying that the 2026 World Cup will likely be his last major tournament before hanging up his boots in the next year or two.
