Ammar’s family immediately sat in the lawyer’s chair to start virtual communication.Ammar’s adoptive mother, Titiek Haryanti, couldn’t hold back her tears as she supported her son.

Communication between Ammar Zoni and outside parties, including his family and legal representatives, was limited due to the strict regulations at the Nusakambangan Penitentiary (Lapas).
