Central Java Regional Police (Central Java)
named AKBP Basuki (B) as a suspect in the death case of a female lecturer, D (35), in Semarang.
Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Regional Police, Commissioner Pol Artanto, said that AKBP Basuki was charged with multiple articles for the death of the University lecturer on August 17 1945 (Untag).
He said that Basuki was charged with multiple articles, namely Article 359 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 304 and Article 306 of the Criminal Code.

“In accordance with Article 359 of the Criminal Code, namely negligence resulting in the death of another person. Apart from being named a suspect, the National Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) hearing against AKBP Basuki which was held at the Central Java Regional Police determined that the 56-year-old policeman was to be fired, aka Dismissal Without Respect (PTDH).
Regarding the autopsy results of the victim who was originally found in the room of an inn in Semarang, Artanto admitted that he could not explain.Previously, an autopsy on the victim’s body had been carried out by doctors from Dr Kariadi Hospital, Semarang.
“The results of the autopsy will be conveyed by investigators and doctors when they have the opportunity, but in principle the legal process is ongoing and currently investigators are carrying out filings on the case,” he explained.
Previously it was reported that an Untag Semarang lecturer, D (35), was found dead in a hotel in Gajahmungkur District, Semarang City.
The victim – who was staying overnight with AKBP Basuki – was initially thought to have died due to illness.
“The female victim from Purwokerto, initials D, 35 years old, was discovered at around 04.30 WIB,” said Gajahmungkur Police Chief, AKP Nasoir when contacted by detikJateng, Tuesday (18/11).
The victim’s death resulted in the discovery that the victim lived with AKBP Basuki.This finding resulted in ethical sanctions against Basuki.
