He admitted that he had met with the Principal of SMA 72 Jakarta to discuss this issue.Pramono emphasized that this issue must be formulated properly.
“Because I don’t want the impact to be long-lasting,” said Pramono, as reported by Antara.
Pramono also said that Monday (17/11) was the deadline for online learning.
“On Monday (17/11) we will also invite parents and teachers to be given a choice as to whether they will go to school face-to-face or online,” he said.
Previously, Pramono hoped that face-to-face learning could be implemented again at SMA Negeri 72 Jakarta next week after the explosion, because most of the students wanted to do face-to-face learning.
“We have communicated, the Head of the Education Service has also conveyed, giving freedom. Those who want to go online are allowed, those who want to be in person are also allowed. And it turns out that most of them are now asking to do it in person,” said Pramono.
The reason why SMAN 72 wants to return to face-to-face learning is because they want to prove that the school is safe.
Pramono admitted that he supported and gave SMA 72 the freedom to decide on this matter.
“Hopefully next week (face-to-face learning) will be complete,” said Pramono.
