in Lebanon on Thursday (27/11).Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency said Israeli aircraft struck Al-Mahmoudiya and Al-Jarmak, just north of the Litani River.
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, as reported by AFP, said his country was “in an increasingly one-sided war of attrition.”

Israel confirmed this and said the attack “destroyed Hezbollah’s infrastructure in several areas in southern Lebanon.”
The attack was launched exactly a year after the ceasefire with Hezbollah.The November 27 2024 ceasefire aims to end hostilities that have lasted more than a year between the two sides.
However, Israel repeatedly bombed Lebanon despite the ceasefire.Israel has always argued the attacks targeted Hezbollah members and infrastructure to prevent them from retooling.

Like the latest attack, Israel said it hit “several launch sites where weapons are stored”, “military posts” used by Hezbollah, and weapons storage facilities.
“The Israeli military will continue to operate to eliminate any threat to Israel,” the country’s military said.
Israel claims, since the ceasefire, it has tried to prevent Hezbollah from strengthening itself by dismantling its infrastructure, thwarting its intelligence operations and weakening its military capabilities.
The Zionists claimed to have carried out around 1,200 “targeted activities” and “eliminated more than 370 people” from Hezbollah, Hamas and other Palestinian groups during the ceasefire.
An Israeli attack on the southern outskirts of Beirut on Sunday (23/11) killed Haitham Ali Tabatabai, Hezbollah’s most senior commander.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned earlier this week that “there will be no calm” in Lebanon if Israel’s security is not guaranteed.
