Thailand, which is the host, will face Timor Leste in the opening match of Group A. The duel will take place at Rajamangala Stadium, Bangkok, at 19.00.
The squad coached by Thawatchai Damrong-Ongtrakul is determined to reclaim the gold that Indonesia won two years ago.Seksan Ratree, Yotsakorn Burapha, and Sittha Boonlha are the three mainstays of the War Elephant squad.
Three hours before the Timor Leste vs Thailand match, Vietnam will open Group B against Laos.
The players who will be the backbone of Vietnam include Khuat Van Khang, Nguyen Thai Son, Nguyen Quoc Viet, and Nguyen Thanh Nhan.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian national team will only compete on December 8 against the Philippines.Indra Sjafri’s squad did not play a match in the opening match of Group C. The opening match of Group C which took place on Friday (5/12) brought together Myanmar and the Philippines.
