A total of seven national teams have confirmed qualification for the tournament
2026 U-17 Asian Cup
through the qualifying round after playing the final group stage match on Sunday (30/11).
Fierce competition in the group stages occurred until the final match.These tight duels also decided seven teams to become group winners and qualify for the 2026 U-17 Asian Cup finals in Saudi Arabia, 7-24 May 2026.
The seven national teams that have qualified for the 2026 U-17 Asian Cup from the qualifying round are: China, Yemen, Vietnam, India, Australia, Thailand and Myanmar.

China became the superior team in the group stage after recording perfect results in Group A by sweeping five matches with a win.Not only that, China also recorded 42 goals without conceding after winning 4-0 over Bangladesh in the last match.
Yemen was also one of the teams that was unbeaten in the group stage after being at the top of Group B. However, in this group Yemen barely faced stiff resistance from Pakistan, Laos and Kyrgyzstan.
From Group C, Vietnam won the deciding match over Malaysia U-17, 4-0.This victory qualified Vietnam for the 2026 U-17 Asian Cup next year.
India won dramatically over Iran, 2-1, in Group D. Iran had led 1-0 first.However, India fought back by equalizing the score at the end of the first half and winning 2-1 in the 52nd minute.The victory gave India a head to head win over Iran.
Australia became the representative of Group E after drawing 3-3 with Iraq.With the addition of one point, Australia collected 10 points, while Iraq had 8 points.
Tight competition also occurred in Group F. Thailand, Turkmenistan and Kuwait both collected 9 points until the last match.However, Thailand is superior on goal difference to the two teams.
Myanmar gave a surprise in Group G by winning the group after beating strong teams such as Oman and Syria.
