“For the time being, as of last night, 21 bodies had been found,” said Padang Pariaman Police Chief AKBP Ahmad Faisol Amir at Parik Malintang, Saturday (29/11).

He said the victim was found by a joint team consisting of the police, TNI, local government, community and other elements who carried out a search until Friday (28/11) evening.
During the search, 19 victims were found in 2×11 Kayu Tanam District, one victim was found in Lubuk Alung District, and another in Batang Anai District.
After being found, he said, the victim was taken to the nearest health center for initial treatment and then taken to Bhayangkara Hospital to identify the victim.
“For status, some have been taken by the family and some have not been taken,” he said.
He said the disturbance team today continued searching the Batang Anai River to find and evacuate victims of the disaster.
Galodo, carrying soil, mud and rock materials, filled up the Padang-Padang Panjang national road, precisely at the gates of Padang Panjang City, Tanah Datar and the Twin Bridges leading to the Anai Valley on Thursday (28/11).
Acting Head of BPBD Padang Panjang Noviyati said the incident blocked the national road which is the gateway to Padang Panjang City and Anai Valley in the Tanah Datar Regency area.
Material consisting of soil, mud, rocks and tree trunks was carried onto the road, making the route impassable.
