He conveyed this while attending the Bank Indonesia Annual Meeting, Jakarta, Friday (28/11).
“Indonesia’s economic condition is actually quite promising, enough to calm us in the midst of global challenges full of uncertainty,” said Prabowo in his speech.

Prabowo said that the global arena is currently filled with uncertainty.Especially in terms of trade wars between superpowers competing for influence in global hegemony.
“In the midst of optimistic signs that major war conflicts are showing signs of being resolved, conditions of tension are also emerging in other places,” he said.
Prabowo emphasized that Indonesia should not depend on any country in the world.He stated that Indonesia must be independent and stand on its own feet.
Apart from that, Prabowo said that in one year of his leadership, he and the Red and White Cabinet had walked on the right path.
He said that together with his staff he could prove to all the Indonesian people the results of real work under his leadership.
Prabowo also gave an example, one of which is the beneficiaries of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program which has now reached 44 million beneficiaries.

“We have produced 2 billion meals and we have delivered them to the beneficiaries, I think this is quite a proud achievement,” he said.
