announced that the government will implement discounts on toll and transportation rates during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 periods (

).
“Regarding the fare discount, it includes train tickets, sea transportation, ferry transportation, air transportation,” said Airlangga during a press conference after a meeting of the government’s strategic program acceleration task force at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (26/11).
The following are details of discounts on toll rates and transport tickets during the Christmas period.

Toll Rates
The toll rate discount lasts for 3 days, namely December 22, 23 and 31, with an amount of 10 to 20 percent.
There are 26 toll road sections where tariff discounts apply, namely 2 Jabodetabek, 9 Trans Java, 3 non-Java, 12 Trans Sumatra.
Train
The discount applied to train transportation tickets is 30 percent.The tariff reduction for this mode of transportation targets 1.5 million people.
“The train discount is 30 percent, the period is 22 December to 10 January, the target is 1,509,000 people,” said Airlangga.

Then, the discount for PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Pelni) sea ship transportation tickets applied is 20 percent for the period 17 December 2025 to 10 January 2026.
The tariff reduction for sea transportation modes targets 405,881 passengers.
Meanwhile, the PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) crossing transportation ticket discount applied is 100 percent for the port or 19 percent of the integrated rate.
The discount on ferry transportation mode rates for the period 22 December 2025 to 10 January 2026 targets 227,560 passengers and 2,026 vehicles.
Airplane
The amount of discount on airplane tickets that applies is 13 percent -14 percent for the period 22 December 2025 to 10 January 2026. The discount on fares for this mode of transportation targets 3.5 million passengers.
“The discount on plane tickets is 13 to 14 percent, the period is 22 December to 10 January, the target is 3.5 million passengers,” explained Airlangga.
