U-23 Indonesian National Team

The manager of the U-23 National Team, Sumardji, confirmed the departure of the Garuda Muda group during the team’s final training session at the Madya Stadium, Jakarta, Wednesday (26/11).
“We will dispatch the first group of players on Friday (28/11) at 08.00 WIB. Meanwhile, the official team will be a bit late because they can’t be on the same plane,” said Sumardji.

The group of players immediately went to Chiangmai, which will be the location for the football match at the 2025 SEA Games.
Sumardji said he had dispatched the advance team on Wednesday (26/11), to prepare the needs of the entire group of U-23 National Team players.
The man who also serves as Chairman of the National Team Agency (BTN) also revealed that he had registered 23 players.In the near future the names of the players will be announced to the public.
“To be sure, PSSI will release the names, perhaps tonight, depending on the code Indra Sjafri [coach] conveys to BTN. Next, BTN will convey it to the PSSI media team to convey the 23 names that will strengthen the U-22 National Team at the 2025 SEA Games,” said Sumardji.
Indonesia is in Group C at the 2025 SEA Games, along with Singapore, the Philippines and Myanmar.
The U-23 national team will start their struggle against Singapore on December 5, meet the Philippines on December 8, and finally play against Myanmar on December 12.
