BWF World Tour Finals 2025
which will take place at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, China, December 17-21.
There are five Indonesian representatives who will appear at the 2025 BWF World Tour Finals, but none of them are in the top four in the World Tour Finals ranking.
Jonatan Christie is ranked sixth in the men’s singles WTF ranking.Putri Kusuma Wardani was in sixth place, but rose one place because she took Chen Yu Fei’s place.

Even though she is ranked 5th in the WTF rankings, Yu Fei cannot participate because there are already two Chinese representatives in the women’s singles, namely Wang Zhi Yi and Han Yue.
Meanwhile, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani also ranked fifth after Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin could not appear because Malaysia already had two representatives, namely Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik and Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun.
Because of Goh/Nur’s elimination, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, who are in ninth place, have the right to enter the top eight and will compete in WTF 2025.
Meanwhile, Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, who is ranked ninth in the 2025 WTF ranking, is entitled to participate because they took the place of the third Chinese player in the top eight in mixed doubles, namely Guo Xin Wa/Chen Fang Hui.
Putri KW and Sabar/Reza, who are ranked fifth, could move up to the top four zone and become seeded if there are participants ranked 1-4 who withdraw.
The World Tour Finals draw will place four seeds according to slots, while four other pairs are drawn freely into the available groups.There is no separation of contestants by country.
The group stage draw will be held in Shanghai on December 13, while action begins four days later at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium.
