Attorney General Investigates Private Director in Palm Oil Waste Corruption Case

) examined witnesses from the Private Director in the corruption case regarding the export of liquid palm oil waste or Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise in 2022-2024.
Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Center, Anang Supriatna, said that the investigation was carried out by investigators from the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, on Tuesday (25/11).
“The witness being questioned has the initials YH as Director of PT Mitra Agung Swadaya, PT Mitra Agrinusa Sentosa, PT Swakarya Bangun Pratama,” he said in a written statement.

However, he did not explain further about the material for the examination of YH.He only said that the examination was carried out to complete the case files.
“Witness examinations are carried out to strengthen evidence and complete the filing in the case in question,” he said.
Previously, the Attorney General’s Office had searched five locations at the Customs Office and the home of Customs officials on October 22 2025. During the search, investigators confiscated several documents related to POME exports.
Anang said investigators had also coordinated with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the Financial Audit Agency (BPK) to calculate state losses in the POME case.
