opened his voice regarding the direction of the Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin that

AD will guard PT Pertamina (Persero)’s refinery and fuel terminal starting December 2025.
According to Yuliot, this decision is normal.The reason is, all of Pertamina’s refineries are state assets, so it is natural for the TNI to monitor them.
“So for TNI assignments, this is a vital national object. So this vital national object must be secured. Yes, including security from the TNI-Polri,” said Yuliot at the Sheraton Gandaria Hotel, Jakarta, Tuesday (25/11).

Not only that, Yuliot also responded to the TNI’s entry into controlling illegal mining which led to protests.
“For illegal mining, the activities are integrated between APH (law enforcement officials), the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and also related ministries/institutions. So, everyone involved must be involved,” said Yuliot.
Previously, Minister of Defense Sjafrie’s statement regarding TNI supervision at the Pertamina refinery emerged when met after a working meeting with Commission I of the DPR at the DPR Building, Monday (24/11).He said that one of the discussions in the closed meeting was protecting vital state objects.

“The tasks of securing strategic installations, especially those owned by Pertamina, are also part of OMSP (Military Operations Other Than War) and are included in the revision of the 14 articles of the TNI Law,” he said.
