This happened in the Ton Angkub Pusdik Bekang Dormitory area which is located on Jalan Salak, Lingkar Selatan Village, Lengkong District, Kota

on Sunday (23/11) at 10.30 WIB.The incident burned six houses and killed one resident.
The victim who died in this incident was a young man named Zakaria Eka Chandra (24), who was found dead in the kitchen area of his house with serious burns.
The fire was first seen in one of the burning houses.The fire then grew and spread to other houses.

Not long after the incident, 10 Bandung City fire engines arrived at the location to extinguish the fire.PLN officers and the Bandung Police Inafis Unit also carried out further handling and investigation.
“Until now, the initial cause of the fire is still unknown,” said Head of the Bandung City DPMKP Service, Soni Bakhtiyar when contacted.
The victim’s body was then taken by ambulance to Sartika Asih Hospital for further examination.
After more than an hour of extinguishing, the fire was successfully extinguished and cooled down.Firefighters have also confirmed that no fires have flared up again.
