Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri
will undergo their fifth final at the BWF World Tour 2025 event after being paired since the middle of the year.
Fajar/Fikri defeated Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani in the semifinals of the Australian Open 2025. The new Cipayung national training team will also compete again in the championship match.
The final match is nothing new for Fajar/Fikri who immediately skyrocketed after being paired with coach Antonius Budi Ariantho.

Before the Australian Open final, Fajar/Fikri had reached four finals, namely the China Open, Korea Open, Denmark Open, French Open.
Of the four finals, Fajar/Fikri became champions at the China Open, which is a Super 1000 level tournament.
In the next four finals, Fajar/Fikri had to settle for being runners up.At the Korea Open, Kim Won Ho/Seo Seung Jae were the obstacles.The Korean pair also defeated Fajar/Fikri in the French Open final.
Meanwhile at the Denmark Open 2025, Fajar/Fikri were defeated by Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi.
This time Fajar/Fikri will face the junior pair at PBSI national training, Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin.
Even though they are younger, that doesn’t mean that Raymond/Joaquin will be an easy opponent for Fajar/Fikri.Being together at national training can be both an advantage and a disadvantage for Fajar/Fikri when facing Raymond/Joaquin.
Raymond/Joaquin’s big ambition to win their first title at the BWF World Tour event is also something Fajar/Fikri should be wary of.
