between groups again claimed lives in Tallo District,
Makassar City
.A teenager with the initials ME was reported to have died after being hit by an air rifle during the clashes that occurred.
“Yes, there has been a death of ME. Student,” said Tallo Police Chief, Commissioner Syamsuardi when confirmed, Friday (22/11).

Regarding the cause of death, the Tallo Police Chief said that his party received information that the victim was shot using an air rifle.
“According to the information, it’s a rifle. An air rifle. The victim is known to be a student,” he explained.
Police Commissioner Syamsuardi said that so far only one victim had been confirmed in this incident.
“If there’s one there, that’s because that’s what I know. I don’t know if there are more,” he said.
The incident occurred on Wednesday (19/11) around dawn, when two groups attacked each other.Police attended the scene but the brawl had already ended.
“I went there, they had already dispersed. They were (not) chasing each other,” he said.
Syamsuardi confirmed that the situation in the Tallo area is now conducive.Even so, the police continued to increase patrols to prevent further brawls.
Previously, a resident named Nur Syam alias Cipas (40) was hit by an air rifle on the right side of his head.
The victim was the perpetrator of a brawl in the Tallo District area which resulted in 13 houses being burnt down by the perpetrators.
However, the police arrested one of the perpetrators of the shooting at Cipas and the perpetrator of burning down another resident’s house.
