) revealed that the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) had absorbed
budget
free nutritious meal program (
MBG
) amounting to IDR 41.3 trillion as of November 18 2025.
Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara said the realization was equivalent to 58.2 percent of the total MBG budget allocation of IDR 71 trillion for this year.
“This means around 58.2 percent of the APBN allocation of IDR 71 trillion,” said Suahasil at the APBN Kita press conference at the Ministry of Finance office, Central Jakarta, Thursday (20/11).

He said that the remaining budget allocation that could still be used until the end of the year was around IDR 30 trillion.
“And of course we will adjust the allocation because the president’s target is 82.9 million recipients of free nutritious meals throughout Indonesia,” he said.
Suahasil explained that the MBG program had succeeded in targeting 41.9 million recipients through 15,369 nutritional fulfillment service units (SPPG) or MBG kitchens throughout Indonesia.This program also absorbed 556,735 workers.
The realization of the MBG program has spread across 38 provinces, with details on Java Island with 25.68 million recipients through 9,107 SPPGs, Bali-Nusa Tenggara Island with 2.15 million recipients through 753 SPPGs, and Sumatra Island with 8.6 million through 3,142 SPPGs.
Then, Maluku-Papua Island had 690 thousand recipients through 265 SPPGs, Sulawesi Island had 2.74 million recipients through 1,069 SPPGs, and Kalimantan Island had 1.7 million recipients through 703 SPPGs.
