Indonesian National Team Midfielder,
Ivar Jenner
, confirmed that he will leave Dutch club, FC Utrecht, next season.
Ivar Jenner expressed this after helping the U-23 Indonesian National Team to balance Mali 2-2 in an international trial match at Pakansari Stadium, Tuesday (18/11).
The lack of playing minutes and no longer being a starter is the reason Ivar Jenner no longer extends his contract at FC Utrecht U-21.

“My situation at the club now is a little different, because this is my last year at the club,” said Ivar Jenner.
“I’m still in the second team, so I didn’t extend my contract. That means I played less than last season. Last season I was always a starter,” added Jenner.
This season Ivar Jenner appeared in 12 matches in domestic competitions for 463 minutes.Meanwhile, last season, this 21 year old player played in 26 matches for 2,141 minutes.
This condition also seems to make Ivar Jenner really want to play with the Indonesian U-23 National Team in the 2025 SEA Games.
“There is a possibility that I will go to the SEA Games. I want to go to the SEA Games, so let’s see,” said Jenner.
Ivar Jenner is one of the players that Garuda Muda needs at the 2025 SEA Games.Even so, coach Indra Sjafri still has to wait for FC Utrecht’s blessing to let Jenner go.
“Regarding the overseas players, PSSI, Ketum, Pak Erick, is trying with his team to lobby (overseas) clubs, which may be able to strengthen us in the SEA Games later,” said Indra.
Previously, the Chairman of the National Team Agency (PSSI) Sumardji said that Ivar Jenner and Marselino Ferdinan could appear at the 2025 SEA Games.
