damaged.The destruction of the KPK seal was allegedly carried out by three of Wahid’s waiters.
Wahid’s three waiters were also questioned as witnesses in the alleged extortion case within the Riau Provincial Government yesterday.

“Among other things, we are investigating the alleged destruction of the KPK seal at the Governor’s official residence,” said KPK spokesman, Budi Prasetyo, to journalists, Monday (17/11), quoted from

The three waiters were Alpin, Muhammad Syahrul Amin, and Mega Lestari.The third inspection was carried out at the BPKP Riau Representative Office.
The Corruption Eradication Commission also summoned two other witnesses, namely ASN P3K Riau PUPR Service, Rifki Dwi Lesmana;and Riau Education Department Planning Staff, Hari Supristianto.
This case relates to Wahid’s alleged request for a fee from his subordinates at the UPT which is under the Riau PUPR Service.
This fee is related to the increase in the 2025 budget allocated to the UPT Roads and Bridges for Regions I-VI of the PUPR PKPP Service from initially IDR 71.6 billion to IDR 177.4 billion.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that Wahid threatened his subordinates if they did not deposit the money known as ‘thug quota’ worth IDR 7 billion.There will be at least three fee deposits in June, August and November 2025.
Wahid used the money when he visited abroad, such as England and Brazil.
Apart from Wahid, the Corruption Eradication Committee named Dani M Nursalam as Abdul Wahid’s expert and the Head of the Riau Province PUPR PKPP Service, M Arief Setiawan, as suspects in this case.
