will hold bilateral meetings with a number of heads of state in a series of High Level Conference meetings (
Summit
) G20 in South Africa (South Africa) on November 22-23.
Deputy for Economic Cooperation and Investment Coordination Edi Prio Pambudi said a number of countries had submitted requests for bilateral meetings.
“We also received requests for bilateral meetings from heads of other countries with President Prabowo, and we are also trying to meet bilaterally with several partner countries and it is important for us to continue cooperation with them,” said Edi in a media briefing at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy office, Friday (14/11).

Edi said the countries that had proposed bilateral meetings with Indonesia were the Netherlands and China.However, the certainty of the meeting will be adjusted to Prabowo’s agenda during the G20 Summit.
“We will look at the agenda of the President, of course it is not for us to determine, but how the agenda can be aligned with the President’s schedule,” he said.
Furthermore, he said that in the leaders’ declaration of the South African G20 Summit, where consensus was being sought, so far there were 82 paragraphs containing 12 main sections.Three of the sections discuss disasters in which Indonesia also includes several points.

South Africa is chair of the G20 this year.South Africa seeks to use the opportunity to advance Global South priorities, including addressing the threat of climate change.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa himself has invited Prabowo to attend the G20 Summit in his country.
Cyril conveyed this in a bilateral meeting held at the Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta, last Wednesday (22/10).
“We really appreciate Indonesia’s participation. We are happy that Your Excellency will attend the G-20 Leaders Summit in Johannesburg next month,” he said.
Cyril said Indonesia’s presence at the G-20 Summit was very important because it is a strategic partner for countries in Africa.Indonesia, he said, could improve and advance trade and investment relations with Southern countries.
