“It’s not us (the Whoosh carriage), they (Danantara) are responsible,” he said.
In addition, there is no light yet on Whoosh’s debt restructuring plan.
“That’s why I said that if later they (Danantara) discuss with there (China), I’ll join in. I want to see, don’t let me lose too much, but let’s see what’s best for this country,” said Purbaya.
“So, this process (whoosh debt restructuring discussions) is still ongoing,” he added.

(COO) Danantara Indonesia Dony Oskaria claims that his party and the government will share roles in the debt restructuring process for the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train.
Dony claimed that this step had been explained directly by President Prabowo Subianto.According to him, Danantara’s responsibilities will be focused on operational aspects and the government will handle parts related to infrastructure.
“So, we are operationally responsible for Whoosh so that we can provide better service more optimally. Of course, hopefully in the future we will carry more passengers,” said Dony when met at the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (11/11).
