arrested a man who intended to kill more than 20 politicians including two former chancellors.
Federal prosecutors on Tuesday (11/11) reported that a man of German-Polish descent had been arrested in the city of Dortmund on Monday (10/11) on suspicion of plotting the murder of a number of politicians.

The man identified as Martin S is said to have called for attacks on dozens of politicians, including former German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Olaf Scholz, on a dark site.
According to a source who spoke to
AFP
, Martin acted alone in this case.He is suspected of being involved with an extreme right-wing conspiracy movement.
Martin has been making calls to kill politicians themselves since last June.Martin is also said to have instructed the manufacture of bombs and asked for donations in the form of cryptocurrency to be used as a “gift” for the murder that had been carried out.
According to authorities, Martin is currently being investigated on various charges, one of which is financing acts of terrorism and provoking violence that could endanger the country.He has also been detained to stand trial.
A number of media outlets have linked him to the Reichsburger (Reich Citizens) movement.The Reichsburgers were an extreme right-wing, conspiracy-driven movement that rejected the legitimacy of the modern German state.
