PKB confirmed that it would oversee the reconstruction of the new building

, Buduran, Sidoarjo, which collapsed some time ago.Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of November.
Chairman of the East Java PKB DPW, Abdul Halim Iskandar, emphasized that from the start his party had helped oversee the handling process and the plan to rebuild the Islamic boarding school.
He said the government’s attention to Al Khoziny was part of the government’s commitment to paying attention to educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools.

“Certainly, definitely. The hope is in accordance with the President’s direction and what the Coordinating Minister for PM (Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar) has done not only for Islamic boarding schools, but the government’s attention to all educational institutions and all religions. Coincidentally, today the disaster is Islamic boarding schools,” said Halim in Surabaya, Wednesday (12/11).
He added that the revitalization process carried out by the government will not only touch Islamic boarding schools, but also other educational institutions in various sectors.
“Well, later the revitalization and other matters, as stated by the Coordinating Minister for PM, will have an impact not only on Islamic boarding schools,” he said.
Regarding PKB’s involvement in discussing the redevelopment plan, Halim ensured that his party was actively involved in coordination at the central level through PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar who currently serves as Coordinating Minister for PM.
“Yes, of course there in Jakarta. In East Java they accept it,” said Halim.
The new building of the AL Khoziny Islamic Boarding School will be immediately rebuilt, following the collapse of a three-story building which killed 63 students, last Monday (29/9).
Head of the Sidoarjo Land Office, Nursuliantoro, said that President Prabowo Subianto planned to hold a ground breaking for the construction of the new A Khoziny building on November 25 2025.The new Al Khoziny building will occupy a new location on Jalan Antartica, Siwalanpanji Village, Sidoarjo.
