The search was carried out in connection with the development of the Sugiri Sancoko sting operation (OTT) case which was previously carried out by the anti-corruption agency.

in the field, a number of KPK members entered the regent’s office on the second floor of the Ponorogo Regency Government office on Jalan Alun-Alun Utara, Mangkujayan District, at around 11.10 WIB.

They entered the building after breaking the seal that was previously installed.
The search took place under tight security by fully armed Ponorogo Police personnel.
“We have a team assigned to actively provide security for the Corruption Eradication Commission today. Some of them are assigned to the regent’s office (the regent’s office) and the other part to Dr. Hardjono Regional Hospital,” said one member of the police who did not want to be named.
Ponorogo Police Chief AKBP Andin Wisnu Sudibyo has not yet provided information to the media crew regarding the deployment of a number of police personnel to help secure the work of the KPK team in Ponorogo.
Several attempts to communicate via telephone line failed to connect.Efforts to confirm via short message have also not been responded to.
A number of journalists who were waiting outside the regent’s office could only document the search activity from outside the building.
Until this news was published, the KPK team was still in the regent’s office area.In the front yard, three metallic black Toyota Innova cars were seen parked which were suspected to be used by the investigative team.
There has been no official statement from the Corruption Eradication Committee or the Ponorogo Regency Government regarding the search activities.
Acting Regent of Ponorogo Lisdyarita on the previous occasion ensured that government activities and public services under the auspices of the Ponorogo Regency Government would continue to run normally.
Previously, Friday (7/11), the Regent of Sugiri and the Regional Secretary, Agus Pramono, were caught in the KPK’s OTT (hand-catching operation) together with a number of parties related to allegations of official bribery and project corruption within the RSUD dr.Hardjono Ponorogo.
The OTT occurred only moments after Regent Sugiri led the transfer of a number of officials within the Ponorogo Regency Government.
