, Nagelsmann spoke about this.According to him, there is an unstable factor behind Liverpool not attracting Wirtz’s appearance.
“To be honest, this whole situation doesn’t make it easy either. The club [Liverpool] is not as stable this year as last year. It is much more difficult to adapt to the current team,” said Nagelsmann in a press conference session ahead of the matches against Luxembourg and Slovakia in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
“If you look at Man City, they were the worse team for 90 minutes. So, it’s also difficult for Flo [Wirtz’s nickname] to have a significant impact.”
Nagelsmann believes that Wirtz still needs time to adapt.This is considered normal for players who have just arrived in the Premier League.
“He just needs a little more time – that’s normal, and you can also see it in other players who move to the Premier League,” Nagelsmann said.
