However, he emphasized that the implementation decision was still waiting for an official submission from the relevant ministry.

“Is that what collapsed? I don’t know what the ending will be like. But I have, if I have discussed it with the Minister of Public Works,” said Purbaya at Airlangga University (Unair) Surabaya, Monday (10/11).
According to him, in principle the government has a budget allocation that can be used if the administrative process from the technical ministry has been proposed and approved.
“Basically, the money is there. If the minister proposes it, it can be implemented quickly,” he said.
Even so, Purbaya admitted that he did not know in detail the latest developments regarding the plan to rebuild the Islamic boarding school.
“But I finally know the details, which have not been discussed further, but I still say the money is there,” he said.
The new building of the AL Khoziny Islamic Boarding School was immediately rebuilt following the collapse of the three-story building which killed 63 students, last Monday (29/9).
Head of the Sidoarjo Land Office, Nursuliantoro, said that President Prabowo Subianto planned to do so
ground breaking
construction of the new A Khoziny building on November 25 2025.
The new building will occupy a new location on Jalan Antartica, Siwalanpanji Village, Sidoarjo.
