A group of bounty hunters led by Toombs arrives on the frozen planet U.V.to hunt down Riddick (Vin Diesel), a famous fugitive.

Riddick easily kills Toombs’ crew and forces Toombs to reveal the source of his information: New Mecca on the planet Helion Prime.
With Toombs’ ship at the helm, Riddick heads to Helion Prime.He confronts the Imam (Keith David), whom he saved five years earlier, and one of the few who knows his hiding place.
The priest tries to contact Riddick because he believes Helion Prime is the target of the Necromongers, religious fanatics who fight across the stars to absorb all human life into their ranks and kill the rest.

Aereon (Judi Dench), an Air Elemental, believes Riddick is a Furyan, a member of a warrior race long thought to be extinct.
That night, the Necromongers’ massive motherships unleashed countless ships on Helion Prime and took control of the planet in a matter of hours.
In the battle, the Priest is killed, Aereon is captured, and Riddick sneaks onto the Necromonger’s ship.
When “the Purifier” (Linus Roache), the Necromonger high priest, forces the population to repent, Riddick appears and kills the soldier who killed the Priest.
Intrigued, Lord Marshal (Colm Feore), leader of the Necromongers, orders Riddick to be scanned for Quasi-Dead telepathy, which confirms that he is a Furyan survivor.
The Lord Marshal is shocked and orders Riddick’s death, but he escapes and is captured by Toombs.Toombs’ new crew takes Riddick to Krematoria, a hot moon dungeon.
