Blake Lively
claimed he suffered losses of up to US$161 million or the equivalent of Rp. 2.6 trillion (US$ 1=Rp. 16,668) due to the black campaign that attacked him in connection with It Ends With Us.
This was revealed by Lively’s team in court documents filed in July 2025 and only recently opened, as reported by The New York Post on Friday (7/11).

In the documents, Lively’s attorney claims his client lost $56.2 million in past earnings and future earning opportunities from acting, guest appearances and advertising.
Lively also said she suffered a loss of US$49 million from her hair care business, Blake Brown, and a loss of US$22 million from her beverage business, Betty Buzz/Betty Booze.Apart from that, there was also a loss of US$34 million from the reputation aspect.
In this way, Lively’s team is demanding punitive damages of at least three times US$161 million.
In the document, Lively also names a number of celebrities as potential witnesses in her ongoing lawsuit against It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni.
There are more than 100 people named on the list, including her own husband, Ryan Reynolds, then there are also Taylor Swift, Hugh Jackman, Emily Blunt, Gigi Hadid, then the HAIM band trio: Este, Danielle, and Alan Haim.
There is also the author of It Ends With Us, Colleen Hoover, the film’s actresses: Jenny Slate and Isabela Ferrer, and Lively’s co-star in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
: Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, and America Ferrera.

“The groups listed as potential witnesses likely have discoverable information that they can use to support their claims or defenses in this matter, except only for impeachment.”
But Hoover, Slate, and Ferrera have all been dropped from the list.Meanwhile, Swift was previously summoned by Baldoni’s team in this case, but the summons was canceled in May 2025 after Swift admitted that she was not involved in making the film.

Justin Baldoni’s legal drama against Blake Lively began in December 2024 when Lively accused his co-star and director in It Ends With Us of sexual harassment and revenge.
Baldoni was accused of sexual harassment and launched a campaign on social media to damage Lively’s reputation along with the producers of It Ends With Us.The case arose after Blake Lively complained about the conditions on the shooting location.
Justin Baldoni, who didn’t accept it, then took action by suing Blake Lively in response.Not only that, he also accused The New York Times, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicists of conspiring to destroy his career with false accusations.
Meanwhile, the trial of Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni is expected to begin on March 9, 2026. Lively filed the lawsuit on December 31, 2023, alleging sexual harassment and revenge.
