The latest report notes that more than 2,000 people in Italy will reach the age of 100 by 2025, the majority of whom are women.
According to the latest data from Italy’s national statistics agency, Istat, Italy now has 23,548 residents aged 100 years and over, up from 21,211 in 2024.
