The following is a synopsis of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.
SpongeBob SquarePants realizes he has grown tall enough to be able to ride a scary roller coaster ride.However, SpongeBob still doesn’t have the guts to try the ride.
He was then inspired by Mr. Krab who always claimed to be very brave when he was young.Driven by the ambition to prove himself as a brave figure in the eyes of his boss, SpongeBob takes reckless steps.

SpongeBob decides to explore the deepest part of the sea that has never been touched by the residents of Bikini Bottom after he accidentally summons The Flying Dutchman.
Together with his loyal friend, Patrick Star, SpongeBob leaves his pineapple house to plunge into the deepest darkness of the sea.
There, they have to face various obstacles, from underwater traps to mysterious puzzles that put them to the test.The main mission is to face the Flying Dutchman directly in order to hold the title of brave man.
However, beneath the darkness of the ocean trenches, SpongeBob finds something much more valuable.Through an exhausting struggle, he learns that true courage is not about titles.
This adventure will be filled with heart-touching emotional moments, without abandoning the silly humor typical of SpongeBob and Patrick’s iconic friendship.
The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants also features SpongeBob with other Bikini Bottom friends, such as Squidward and Mr.Krabs who completes the storyline.
The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants was directed by Derek Drymon with a film script written by Pam Brady and Matt Liberman.
Meanwhile, the voice cast is filled with original actors, such as Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Clancy Brown, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr.Lawrence.
This film also features the voices of a number of guest actors such as Mark Hamill as the Flying Dutchman, Ice Spice and George Lopez.
The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants opens December 24 in theaters.
