Dudy said he had ordered the Director General of Land Transportation to send a summons to the operator.
“Yesterday I asked the Director General of Land Transportation to summon all the operators or owners again,” said Dudy when met at Pasar Senen Station, Tuesday (23/12).

According to Dudy, later in the summons his party will convey the conditions for the vehicle’s fitness before operating.Not only that, it also reminds us to ensure that the driver is healthy and in a condition where it is possible to drive the vehicle.
“So we remind you not only of the roadworthiness of the vehicle, but also of paying attention to the drivers so that they don’t work for example overtime or are too tired,” he explained.
The Ministry of Transportation is also coordinating with the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) to carry out a definitive investigation into the cause of the entire accident.
“We will involve the KNKT to look at it (investigate),” he concluded.
Previously, a bus with plate number B 7201 IV which departed from Jatiasih to Yogyakarta had an accident on the KM 420-200 toll road at the Krapyak Interchange, Semarang, killing 16 people.
“The bus accident resulted in the deaths of 16 victims, then eight were injured. Currently the deceased victims are being buried at Dr Kariadi Hospital and at Tugu Hospital,” said Central Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ribut Hari Wibowo at Dr Kariadi Hospital, Semarang, Monday (22/12).
The yellow bus containing 34 passengers was reportedly speeding and allegedly lost control and hit a road divider and eventually rolled over.
Director General of Land Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation, Aan Suhanan, said the bus was not roadworthy according to an investigation conducted by the Ministry of Transportation.
Aan said the bus was not registered as tourism or inter-city inter-provincial transportation (AKAP) in the MitraDarat application.
His party also found proof of passing test data or (BLU-e).Based on this data, the vehicle’s last periodic test was carried out on July 3 2025 while the ramp check results on December 9 2025 stated that the bus was not roadworthy and was prohibited from operating.
“To investigate the cause of the accident, currently the Directorate General of Transportation has dispatched officers to the field and is actively coordinating with the police, the Central Java Class II Land Transportation Management Center, the Central Java Provincial Transportation Service, Jasa Marga and the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT),” said Aan, Monday.
