Patra Niaga (PPN) is fully committed to following the holding’s directions in the process
mergers
with Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) and Pertamina International Refinery (KPI).The three are scheduled to merge into one on January 1 2026.
PPN Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun said that currently his party has made parallel preparations from the operational side so as not to disrupt public services when the merger process is carried out.
“We are still carrying out preparations as determined. We are just following the direction of what the holding will look like, but in parallel we are preparing operationally,” said Roberth in a press conference at his office, Monday (22/12).

According to Robert, company mergers are commonplace in the business world.Moreover, the aim is to improve the company’s long-term performance and added value.

The main director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Simon Aloysius previously said that the process of merging the three subsidiaries was underway and that his party would ask for direction from Danantara as a shareholder regarding this merger.
“So the process is still ongoing, indeed our target is to have restructuring before the end of December 2025, that is already underway,” said Simon when met after the Indonesia Langgas Berenergi event initiated by Detik and hitclubapk3 Indonesia, at Anjungan Sarinah, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (7/10).
According to Simon, it is hoped that before the end of the year the entire merger process will be completed and the three subsidiaries will become one company.
“Hopefully (by the end of December 2025) it will be executed,” he said.
Pertamina is currently planning several corporate actions, including the merger of Pelita Air with Garuda Indonesia, which is still in the study stage.
However, the two companies are currently discussing and reporting to Danantara.
“So, if it can be caught up before 2025, it might be faster. So everything is parallel now,” he explained.
