Speaking from the Kubro Deliberation pulpit, Gus Yahya delivered two important briefings regarding all the ijtihad and agreements that emerged from the forum.

In the first briefing, Gus Yahya emphasized his openness to carry out investigations and tabayun for the various accusations directed at him.He requested that the process be carried out openly by presenting valid evidence and witnesses.
“First, I am always open to being questioned and prosecuted for whatever is accused of me, through any means, by presenting all the necessary evidence and witnesses,” he said.
At the second briefing, Gus Yahya emphasized that from the start he wanted islah as a solution to the dynamics occurring within Nahdlatul Ulama.He emphasized that the term in question must be based on truth, not compromise on falsehood.
“From the first second I always wanted islah. I was ready to build al-haq bina al-haq bina al-haq, not bina al-batil,” he said.
He also emphasized Taslim’s attitude and full compliance with the decisions made through the PWNU, PCNU agreements, as well as the mustasyar’s interpretations which were used as references in the Kubro Deliberation.
On this occasion, Gus Yahya revealed that he had tried to contact Rais Aam PBNU to ask for time to meet to follow up on the forum agreement.However, until now, he has not received any response.
“As soon as I heard about the PWNU and PCNU agreement, I immediately sent a message to Rais Aam asking for time to meet. Until now I have not received an answer,” he said.
He stated that he would wait until the 3×24 hour deadline before reporting the results to the forum.
“I will wait 3 x 24 hours, and then I will report the results,” he said.
Previously, the Kubro Deliberation Forum at the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School in Kediri, East Java, urged both parties in the PBNU to reconcile, so that the conflict could be resolved quickly.
Spokesperson for the Kubro Deliberative Forum, KHÂ Oing Abdul Muid, stated that the decision to reconcile from both parties at PBNU was the result of a forum discussed at the Lirboyo Kediri Islamic Boarding School.
