, Tegal Regency, which was damaged by flash floods, is now starting to be repaired.Repairs were carried out following the receding of the flood.
Previously, flash floods hit the Guci tourist attraction area, Tegal Regency, Central Java, on Saturday (20/12) evening.
Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, reported that flash floods hit the Guci hot spring tourist area at around 16.30 WIB.

Please note that the repair process was carried out by a joint team of BPBD, PMI, TNI, Polri and the community.Acting Head of Daily Implementation (Kalakhar) BPBD Tegal Regency, M Afifudin, emphasized that the Guci tourist attraction is again ready to be visited by tourists.
“Especially the hot water shower was repaired together. The water pipe that was washed away was also re-installed. With this repair, Guci is ready to receive tourists again, especially during Christmas,” said Afifudin as reported by

According to Afifudi, this flood disaster will not affect tourist visits, especially during the holiday season at the end of 2025.
“Yesterday’s flooding was the result of cyclon 93S which was right above Mount Slamet. Not only Guci experienced heavy rain, other areas such as Sirampog Brebes also experienced flash floods. But now that cyclon 93S has moved away, it is possible there will be no more heavy rain,” he concluded.
The flood disaster at the Alam Guci tourist location yesterday damaged a number of facilities.There were three hot water shower pools that were damaged, namely Shower 13 was damaged because it was buried in sand, Shower 5 was damaged because a large tree branch fell and 3 Barokah Pools were damaged because they were filled with murky water.
