Heavy rain and strong winds hit the Petir Village area, Dramaga District,
Bogor
, West Java on Friday (19/12).
As a result, as many as five residents’ houses were damaged due to strong winds and heavy rain.

Head of the Bogor Regency BPBD Emergency and Logistics Division, M Adam Hamdani, said the incident occurred on Friday (19/12).On Saturday (20/12) BPBD officers only received a report of damage due to the incident that occurred.
“Due to heavy rain accompanied by strong winds in the area, two residents’ houses collapsed and several other houses suffered damage to their roofs,” said Adam, Saturday (20/12/), as quoted from

The damaged houses were located in Babakan Village, specifically RT 006 and 002 RW 002. Adam said that a total of 5 residents’ houses were damaged.
“Two house units were heavily damaged, two house units were moderately damaged, and two house units were slightly damaged,” he explained.
Adam said the house collapsed when the occupants were not inside.Currently, some of the damaged houses have not been repaired.
There were no casualties in that incident.However, Adam said nine residents were forced to flee to safer places.
“The victim fled 2 families (head of family) containing 9 people, who took refuge in a rented house,” he said.
