Indonesia won its 89th gold medal in boxing in the men’s 51kg event through Vicky Tahumil Junior at the 2025 SEA Games, Friday (19/12).
This confirmation was obtained after Vicky defeated host representative Thailand Thitisan Panmot 3-2 in the final match of the 51kg boxing event at Chulalongkorn University Sports Center 4 Floor, Bangkok, Friday (19/12).This is the 89th gold won by Indonesia.
Previously, Indonesia managed to win its 88th gold medal in the men’s indoor hockey sport on Friday (19/12) afternoon.

This additional gold makes Indonesia successful in surpassing the gold medal achievement at the 2023 SEA Games. Indonesia is now in second place in the SEA Games medal standings with a score of 89 gold medals.Meanwhile, Vietnam is in third place with a collection of 78 gold medals.
