The gold from the kabaddi sport is the 80th for the Indonesian contingent.This achievement is a special milestone, because the Ministry of Youth and Sports has set a target of 80 gold.
Indonesia still remains in second place in the 2025 SEA Games standings with 80 gold, 93 silver and 103 bronze.
Vietnam, which is in third place, is now close with 73 gold, 72 silver and 99 bronze.
Meanwhile host Thailand is at the top of the standings with 197 gold, 130 silver and 93 bronze.
Apart from the competition between Indonesia and Vietnam which is aiming for second place, there is also a competition for fourth place which is being contested by three countries.
Singapore is temporarily in fourth place with 48 gold, two gold ahead of Malaysia.Meanwhile, the Philippines, which has bagged 41 gold medals, is in sixth place.
