This week, Golden fell one place to fifth on the main singles chart on Tuesday (16/12) US time.The song became one of the biggest hits of the year, after spending eight non-consecutive weeks at No.1.

on Wednesday (17/12) reported that the song HUNTR/X fell one place when the top of the latest charts was dominated by classic holiday songs, including All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey.
On the Billboard 200, the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack remains at No.3 for 25 consecutive weeks on the main album chart.
Even though it was shifted by the enthusiasm of Christmas celebrations, Golden remained firmly in securing a position at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

This achievement extends the record of brilliant achievements since it was officially released as a single on July 4 2025.
The song debuted at number 81, but it only took two weeks for Golden to jump all the way into the Top 10.
Since entering the top 10, the song has never dropped and finally managed to reach the number one position for the first time on August 11, 2025.
This success recorded new history for the music industry, where Golden became the first song from an animated artist who was able to hold the record for number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for a very long time.
Through this song, HUNTR/X also made history as the first female group with more than three members to reach the top of the Billboard charts in more than one category.
The song is now also one step closer to the 2026 Oscars. Golden is on the shortlist for Best Original Song for the 98th Academy Awards.The complete nominations for the 2026 Oscars will be announced January 2, 2026.
