In Serang Regency, flooding was reported in six villages spread across Padarincang, Cinangka and Gunungsari sub-districts, due to moderate to heavy rain and the overflow of the Cidanau and Cikalumpang watersheds (DAS).

BPBD recorded that 695 heads of families (KK) or 2,125 people were affected, with water levels varying between 20 and 120 centimeters.
“The district BPBD together with a joint team have carried out a rapid assessment, evacuating affected residents, monitoring river discharge, and updating data regularly,” said Lutfi.
He confirmed that there were no casualties in the flood incident in the area.
Pandeglang
In Pandeglang Regency, floods reportedly submerged hundreds of residents’ houses in Patia and Carita Districts, while strong winds caused six houses to collapse in a number of sub-districts.

Meanwhile in Cilegon City, heavy rain accompanied by strong winds resulted in several incidents of houses collapsing and trees falling.

BPBD also recommends issuing an emergency alert status which can be upgraded to emergency response based on the results of field analysis, as well as meeting the urgent needs of affected residents, such as tarpaulins, ready-to-eat food, blankets and baby equipment.
