He said one of the reasons was that infrastructure was still damaged and some villages were still flooded.

He said that under these conditions, if the electricity is forced to turn on, it has the potential to harm residents.
At the same time, Bahlil also reported that the main substation there was almost complete, with the stage having reached 80 to 90 percent.
He also targets that this will be completed this week, no later than Wednesday or Thursday.
“If this happens then the electricity flow from Arun, Bireum, will only be able to enter normally and transmission for the Sumatra route will be able to
connect
,” he said.
BNPB reports that a number of areas in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra are still affected by flash floods and landslides with limited land access.
As of Monday (15/12), the number of victims who died was recorded at 1,030 people, while the number of missing people was 206 people.
The number of refugees reached 608,940 people, with Aceh being the province with the most refugees.
The Aceh government has also requested the involvement of UNDP and UNICEF to support post-disaster management and the infrastructure recovery process in the affected areas.
