The Indonesian contingent closed the fifth day
SEA Games 2025
leaving Vietnam in the medal standings until Monday (15/12) morning.
After all sports have been competed in, Indonesia is firmly in second place in the 2025 SEA Games medal standings.
Indonesia is firmly in second place with 43 gold, 56 silver and 53 bronze medals.This result made Indonesia leave Vietnam, which was ranked third in the medal standings with 34 gold, 35 silver and 66 bronze.

This condition was different from Saturday (13/12) night where Indonesia only had a slight lead over Vietnam with a difference of 1 gold medal.
This achievement occurred after the Red and White Team won 12 gold medals on Sunday.Athletics contributed the most gold today, with four gold coins.
The four gold medals from athletics were won by Hendro Yap Kim Lung (men’s 20 km race walk), Violine Intan Puspita (women’s 20 km race walk), Robi Syianturi (men’s marathon), and Odekta Eliva Naibaho (women’s marathon).
Before winning gold from athletics, Indonesia first received a gold medal through Edgar Xavier Marvelo (wushu/changquan, daoushu, & gunshu).
There were also gold donations from men’s team time trial cycling, men’s team shooting in the 10m air pistol event, Alwi Farhan badminton/men’s singles), Sabar/Reza (badminton/men’s doubles), men’s team pencak silat arts event, and Aero Sutan Aswar (men’s jetski/endurance open).
Lastly, the skateboarding branch also recorded an achievement with a gold medal from Basral Graito in the men’s street event.
